MISSION: TO TEACH CHILDREN HOW TO BE SAFE, SKILLED AND CONFIDENT IN THE WATER.
I have personally been rescued from open water drowning incidents three times in my life. Two of those times happened when I was less than five years old. The third time I was twenty one and got caught in a rip current.
Today, I teach babies and children the skill that would have made the difference in each of my drowning incidents. That skill is the problem solving ability to float. (They also learn to swim and all that fun stuff! ;)
As a Mom, I know exactly how easy it is for our little ones to get into danger, especially around water. I have learned first hand how a moment of inattention can be all it takes for a drowning to occur.
We can protect our children by skilling them and the younger they learn, the easier it is for them. From there, they can expand into so many fun aquatic activities that increase self esteem and keep them moving. It's A WIN WIN WIN!
